Add sparks and lights to your cursor
If you are into customizing your desktop and want something a little out of the ordinary then you will probably like iCursor.
This mini application adds 20 different effects to your cursor, from circus lights to smoke, soap or snow. The majority of the effects are colored explosions that trail your cursor at different speeds and with different movements, like HyperSpace, Comet or SloQuantum.
iCursor includes five different custom tracks, however it's not very clear as to how you can create your own effect. It would nice to have a little guide to help users out here.
Once iCursor is installed, all you need to do is launch the program and select the desired effect from the drop down list in your menu bar. I advise you to test them all out and see the one you prefer. Be aware though that you might get a little tired, or dizzy after a while. That's why I don't recommend leaving iCursor on for too much.
